Annual and 5-yearly inspections
One of the necessary procedures for lifeboats, rescue boats and davits is their annual inspection. Inspection contains the checking of technical condition of davit and winch with special attention paid to brake and gearbox elements, and if necessary repairs or renewal of parts.
